Try our new recipe of Apple Oatmeal Raisin cookies using our  Baking Coach Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Dough Baking Activity Kit! Once the dough is made, bake them for warm cookies or enjoy right away with the edible and safe cookie dough!

HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 1 Baking Coach Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Dough Baking Activity Kit
  • 1 Stick of room temperature butter
  • 1 apple (any kind of your choosing)

HERE IS HOW YOU DO IT:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Take two cookie sheets and line them both with parchment paper. Place these cookie sheets to the side until you are ready to bake!
  2. On a cutting board take your apple and peel all the skin off. Once peeled you are going to de-core and dice your apple into tiny pieces. Once completed set the cutting board and apples aside for later
  3. Open up your Baking Coach Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Dough Baking Activity kit. Lay out all of your ingredients on the table, you should have: 1 glove, 1 sheet of parchment paper, 1 large mixing stick, bag #1 of sugar, bag #2 with vanilla extract, bag #3 flour mixture and bag #4 of raisins.
  4. Put on your provided glove and in a large mixing bowl pour in bag #1 of sugar and bag #2 of vanilla extract and combine your stick of room temperature butter. Use your gloved hand for ease in the mixing.
  5. Slowly pour in your flour mixture into the large mixing bowl. While pouring in you want to mix all the ingredients together. Once all the flour is mixed together you should have a nice cookie dough consistency formed
  6. Pour into the blow your diced apples from before, and if you would like, add in bag #4 of raisins. Combine all the ingredients together in the dough
  7. Take a taste of the dough! This is EDIBLE cookie dough after all! You can stop here and enjoy some homemade and edible apple oatmeal cookie dough or continue on!
  8. On the cookie sheets, divide the dough into 24 equal portions. You want to place each cookie about 2 inches apart. Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes (TIP: Look at the bottom of the cookie, if the bottom is golden brown, your cookie is ready!)
  9. Allow cookies to cool before enjoying, Eat and Enjoy!
