Skill Level: Supported

Baking, Decorating & Cooking Classes

This skill level is open to all individuals over age 15 that may or may not need assistance with step-by-step instruction. They may require prompting to complete tasks and guidance following multi-step directions.  Adult one-on-one assistance is allowed and may be required to help the student complete the workshop, but it is not provided by The Baking Coach. We offer larger print recipes and a relaxed environment. Our workshops are available a full calendar year.

If you have self-direction and are seeking reimbursement, we will gladly furnish you with a paid receipt at the end of class.  Anyone
interested in direct billing should contact us at bakingcoach@gmail.com.

Starting 4/1/2025, all workshops will be $99.00 per person.

Baking Inside and Out with Dr. Dara Brener, MD, FACP Medical Director for Stonybrook Community Medicine

This workshop takes a deeper look into the human body. After making homemade whole grain focaccia bread, Dr. Brener will provide a power point presentation about how the bread is broken down in the human body. We are taking the wonderful world of baking one step further! Then enjoy making a sandwich with homemade white bean & garlic hummus, grilled chicken, lettuce, and tomato. Plus, making some fun healthy snacks to enjoy in class with friends or take home.

The Baking Coach® Cancellation Policy:
Cancelations with 24 hours or more notice:
   Refunds will not be given, but if you are unable to attend the paid workshop and notify us 24 hours prior to the start of the workshop, you will receive a gift card credit towards a future workshop.

Cancellations less than 24 hours:  We are unable to provide a Refund or Credit and you will be responsible for payment.   We can provide you with the pre-measured dry ingredients and an instructional video or recording of the workshop. These kits must be picked up within 14 days.
