Baking Inside and Out with Dr. Dara Brener, MD, FACP Medical Director for Stonybrook Community Medicine

After making homemade whole grain focaccia bread, Dr. Brener will provide a power point presentation about how the bread is broken down in the human body. We are taking the wonderful world of baking one step further! Then enjoy making a sandwich with homemade white bean & garlic hummus, grilled chicken, lettuce, and tomato. Plus, making some fun healthy snacks to enjoy in class with friends or take home.
